In Dream Cloud Orchestra’s debut album, Nocturnes, modern film scores, classical orchestral works, and ambient soundscapes combine to create cinematic neoclassical music that takes the listener on a journey depicting various aspects of the night. It explores a wide variety of emotional landscapes, such as the twilight world that lives on the border between day and night, the excitement of a late-night waltz, the calm wonder of a little dog falling asleep next to you, and the multifaceted stuff of dreams: by turns surreal, disturbing, comforting, and profound.
